A couple session is a chance for us to capture some beautiful photos of you and your partner in a relaxed environment - listening to your favourite records snuggled up at home, running along a beautiful beach at sunset, or having a night out in the city.

While photos immortalise a moment in time, it's through the art of videography that we add an emotional layer that images alone can not convey. A video preserves not only the visuals, but the heartfelt voices and words of your loved ones.

During your engagement session, we can capture just the two of you or you can include close family members or even your fur children - we never say No to some doggo or kitty snuggles!
If you’re a little camera-shy, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to practice being comfortable in front of our lens and see how we work. The images we'll get will also be perfect to use for your invites or a guest book!

Within 48 hours after your wedding, you'll receive 30-50 sneak peek images. The remaining image gallery will be delivered between 4-8 weeks after your wedding. Your wedding film will take 3-6 months. Depending on your package, you'll receive your USB in the mail and we'll design your album together.

Want a fun and stress-free wedding day? We're here to keep an eye on the clock, fix your dress, capture the in-between moments, and around sunset, we'll sneak off for a few beautiful photos of the two of you. Allow yourselves to learn back knowing we'll create pure magic together.

In the lead up to your day, we work with questionnaires and regular check in's to not only get to know you better, but also help you in the planning process. You'll receive a helpful wedding guide booklet, we'll craft your timeline together, and if you want, take some beautiful engagement photos!

Fill in the contact form and we'll be in touch with our full price guide and a link to book yourselves in for a zoom call. We seek trust and connection with like-minded couples, so meeting you beforehand is a must for us! 
If we're a good match, it's time to sign your contract and pay your $1,000 non-refundable booking fee. Then, let the planning begin!

FAQ

Where are you based?

We are based in Victoria, Australia, but travel all over Australia, New Zealand and Europe to capture weddings and elopements.
Caro often spends the European summer months in her home country Germany and is available for wedding photography in Europe from June to August.

Do you require a booking fee?

Yes, we require a $1,000 non-refundable booking fee at the time of booking to secure your date. The remaining amount is due one month prior to your wedding or elopement.

Do you photograph same-sex couples?

Of course! LGBTQIA+, no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, we'd love to be a part of your wedding day. Love is love and we treat each wedding with the utmost respect and openness towards the LGBTQIA+ community.

How many photos will we receive?

You can expect to receive about 400-1000 photos, depending on how many hours we shoot and how jam-packed your wedding day is!

How and when will we receive our photos?

Firstly you will receive 30-50 sneak peeks a couple of days after your wedding. Then 4-8 weeks later we will send you a link to your full online gallery, which you can download and share for up to 12 months. You'll also receive your USB in the mail not long after. Last but not least, we'll design your album together.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we can organise to split your payments into up to four instalments. Just let us know if this would suit you. 

Can we print our photos?

Of course, we’d love for you to print your favourite photos! You can easily order photos prints through your online gallery. We can highly recommend the Matte Art prints which bring out our colours beautifully.

What happens if we have to cancel or reschedule?

The $1,000 booking fee is non-refundable as this helps to protect our business due to turning away all other bookings for your wedding date and covers all initial costs and admin fees. If you end up cancelling altogether, you'll forfeit your booking fee.
If your wedding can’t legally go ahead due to e.g. a natural disaster or pandemic, our contract includes one reschedule within 12 months of your wedding day, free of charge (a small charge applies for Saturdays). If you need to reschedule for any other reasons, you can do so up to 3 months prior to your day. After that, it's a case-by-case basis.

What's your style?

Our style is documentary with a pinch of artistic flair. We aim for natural, warm tones and love to capture the candid and emotional moments during your day while also providing gentle guidance to help you get those hero shots to put on your walls.

Our approach relies heavily on the personal connection we form with our couples. If you are loved-up, laid-back souls who love travelling and the outdoors as much as we do, who don't take life too serious (and don't mind a few swear words here and there), and who want their wedding day to reflect their unique personalities, we'd love to hear from you! It's the greatest compliment that often, past couples become friends and we get to document more exciting chapters for them as their lives progress.
The zoom call at the start of our journey is therefore a non-negotiable for us to ensure we are the perfect fit for each other.

Do you charge travel fees or GST?

All packages are inclusive of travel fees and GST, we arrange all our own transport and accommodation. No hidden costs!

Will we receive the unedited photos/ RAW files?

No, all images you'll receive are edited in our refined signature style with a combination of colour and black and white photographs. We pride ourselves on our work and enjoy working with couples who trust us to capture the magic of their day in the best way we know how.
Please ensure that you have viewed our portfolio and our editing style matches your vision before enquiring.

We're really awkward in front of the camera. Can you still get good photos of us?

Of course! We hear this statement a lot, and it's normal! (unless you are models irl) We work with questionnaires and catch up's before your day, so that we already feel like we know each other and that will help you feel so much more comfortable around us - we're just humans after all, no need to be intimidated!
Furthermore, we work with prompts and gentle guidance rather than putting you into poses that could feel unnatural to you. Of course we can get those Vogue magazine shots, but we also understand that they are not for every couple.
Caro has a psychology background and can read the room, so she matches her approach and "energy" of the poses to your personalities. Sometimes what looks good on your Pinterest board does not feel good because it doesn't come natural to you two. This is where our experience comes in!
We guarantee that whether you love quietly or loudly, you'll have some beautiful images to look back on that actually feel like YOU.
Plus, we'll bring some music along to beat that awkward silence and shutter clicking. :)

Will you pose us?

Cringey and awkward poses are a thing of the past! We love to work with you and match our photography to your personalities and unique relationship.
We work with prompts that help create natural movement and emotion which is unforced and true to you.
If you're a rather extroverted and posey couple, we will make sure we'll get all those fancy shots you desire. If you're rather introverted and intimate, we will slow down and make time and space for you to embrace each other's company and capture all those sweet moments.

Can you help us plan our wedding or elopement?

Of course! Whilst we recommend hiring a wedding planner if you don't have the time to plan all details yourself or have a certain vision, we can most certainly help you along the way.
We offer personalised timeline assistance, location scouting, vendor recommendations and a broad knowledge of what might work best as we have shot a great variety of weddings and elopements. For full day elopements, we also offer in depth planning help such as tours, accommodations, restaurants etc.
