A couple session is a chance for us to capture some beautiful photos of you and your partner in a relaxed environment - listening to your favourite records snuggled up at home, running along a beautiful beach at sunset, or having a night out in the city.

While photos immortalise a moment in time, it's through the art of videography that we add an emotional layer that images alone can not convey. A video preserves not only the visuals, but the heartfelt voices and words of your loved ones.

FAQ

Where are you based?

I'm based in Bendigo, Victoria, but travel all over Australia, New Zealand and Europe to capture weddings and elopements.
Just this year I got to shoot a wedding in Italy - no place is off limits!

Do you require a booking fee?

Yes, I require a $1000 non-refundable booking fee at the time of booking to secure your date. The remaining amount is due one month prior to your wedding or elopement.

Do you photograph same-sex couples?

Of course! LGBTQIA+, no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, I'd love to be a part of your wedding day. Love is love and I treat each wedding with the utmost respect and openness towards the LGBTQIA+ community.

How many photos will we receive?

You can expect to receive 500+ photos, depending on how many hours we shoot and how jam-packed your wedding day is!

How and when will we receive our photos?

Firstly you will receive 50+ sneak peeks within 48 hours after your wedding. Then 4-8 weeks later I will send you a link to your full online gallery, which you can access, download and share for up to 12 months. You'll also receive your USB in the mail not long after. Last but not least, we'll design your album together.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we can organise to split your payments into up to four instalments or you can pay as you go. Just let me know if this would suit you. 

Can we print our photos?

Of course, I’d love for you to print your favourite photos! You can easily order photo prints through your online gallery. I highly recommend the Matte Art prints which bring out my colours beautifully and are so soft to the touch.

What happens if we have to cancel or reschedule?

The $1,000 booking fee is non-refundable as this helps to protect my business due to turning away all other bookings for your wedding date and covers all initial costs and admin fees. If you end up cancelling altogether, you'll forfeit your booking fee.
If your wedding can’t legally go ahead due to e.g. a natural disaster or pandemic, my contract includes one reschedule within 12 months of your wedding day, free of charge (a small charge applies for Saturdays). If you need to reschedule for any other reasons, you can do so up to 3 months prior to your day. After that, it's a case-by-case basis.

What's your style?

My style is documentary with a pinch of artistic flair. I aim for natural, warm tones and love to capture the candid and emotional moments during your day while also providing gentle guidance to help you get those hero shots to put on your walls.

My approach relies heavily on the personal connection I form with my couples. If you are loved-up, laid-back souls who love travelling and the outdoors as much as I do, who don't take life too serious (and don't mind a few swear words here and there), and who want their wedding day to reflect their unique personalities, I'd love to hear from you! It's the greatest compliment that often, past couples become friends and I get to document more exciting chapters for them as their lives progress.
The zoom call at the start of our journey is therefore a non-negotiable for me to ensure we are the perfect fit for each other.

Do you charge travel fees or GST?

All packages are inclusive of travel fees and GST. I arrange my own transport and accommodation. No hidden costs!

Will we receive the unedited photos/ RAW files?

No, all images you'll receive are edited in my signature style with a combination of colour and black and white photographs. I pride myself on my work and enjoy working with couples who trust me to capture the magic of their day in the best way I know how.
Please ensure that you have viewed my portfolio and my editing style matches your vision before enquiring.

We're really awkward in front of the camera. Can you still get good photos of us?

Of course! I hear this statement a lot, and it's normal! (unless you are models irl) I work with questionnaires and catch up's before your day, so that we already feel like we know each other and that will help you feel so much more comfortable around me - we're all just humans after all, no need to be intimidated!
Furthermore, I work with prompts and gentle guidance rather than putting you into poses that could feel unnatural to you. Of course we can get those Vogue magazine shots, but I also understand that they are not for every couple.
I have a psychology background and can read the room pretty well, so I match my approach and "energy" of the poses to your personalities. Sometimes what looks good on your Pinterest board does not feel good because it doesn't come natural to you two. This is where my experience comes in!
I guarantee that whether you love quietly or loudly, you'll have some beautiful images to look back on that actually feel like YOU.
Plus, I'll bring some music along to beat that awkward silence and shutter clicking. :)

Will you pose us?

Cringey and awkward poses are a thing of the past! I match my photography to your personalities and unique relationship.
I work with prompts that help create natural movement and emotion which is unforced and true to you.
If you're a rather extroverted and posey couple, we will make sure we'll get all those fancy shots you desire. If you're rather introverted and intimate, we will slow down and make time and space for you to embrace each other's company and capture all those sweet moments.

Can you help us plan our wedding or elopement?

Of course! Whilst I recommend hiring a wedding planner if you don't have the time to plan all details yourself or have a certain vision, I can most certainly help you along the way.
I offer personalised timeline assistance, location and vendor recommendations and have in-depth knowledge of what might work best as I have shot a great variety of weddings and elopements. For full day elopements and wedding weekends, I also offer in depth planning help such as tours, accommodations, restaurants etc.
